Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.

There is a courage of happiness as well as a courage of sorrow.

Those who gave thee a body, furnished it with weakness; but He who gave thee Soul, armed thee with resolution. Employ it, and thou art wise; be wise and thou art happy.

We learn the inner secret of happiness when we learn to direct our inner drives, our interest and our attention to something outside ourselves.

Quotes on Happiness - A Welcome Note
Quotes on Happiness - we all use them, right?
I bet you've said, at least once in your life,
On second thought, maybe that quote by Norm Papernick isn't the most popular Happy Hour conversation piece, but just the fact that you've stumbled onto my site, searching for a quote, is proof that you'll be using one in the very near future.
I rest my case.
Getting down to the business of happiness, I've not only decided to explore the Enchanted World of Quotes on Happiness, I've also taken upon myself to unearth, experience, critique, and categorize every single thing remotely related to happiness. My reasons for this: I can't get enough of the happy feeling and, most importantly, because it's free...it's out there for you and me.
You see, throughout the highs and lows in my life (but mostly the lows as they knock you to your knees and force you to think and observe), I've come to realize there's a funny thing about happiness: sometimes we don't notice it. We may even have to actually learn how to recognize it.
It's no surprise since happiness can be a sneaky little con artist, taking on different shapes, colours and sounds. So this makes me all the more giddy with excitement as I prepare to embark on this sacred quest that will send me rampaging throughout my world, looking out for happiness in disguise, leaving no stone unturned. You won't want to miss a single episode, and will surely rush to buy the t-shirt and handy cotton tote bag once I've settled on the colour combination. Though I may be joking, you never know...
Finally, as I bid you au revoir before mounting Millie, my faithful purple second-hand mountain bike, I leave you with Your First Assignment:
You must commit to doing this morning, noon, and just before bed.
Do it with attitude, two thumbs up and a brisk high-five.
Oh yeah!
That's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I LIKE IT...
I bet you've said, at least once in your life,
"Those who can laugh without cause
have either found the true meaning of happiness
or have gone stark raving mad."

An honest to goodness
